The Australian concrete pipe industry continues to develop products and promote practices that target more sustainable outcomes.  Recently RCPA launched EKOPIPE, a pipe that contains significantly less Portland cement than traditional pipe, with a reported 50% reduction in CO2 emissions.   Importantly the product meets the performance requirements of AS/NZS 4058, Precast concrete pipes (pressure and non pressure).
