The Concrete Pipe Association of Australasia represents the manufacturers of steel reinforced concrete pipe, box culverts, and other associated products, in Australia and New Zealand. Presently the members of the CPAA include Holcim Humes, Civilmart, RCPA, Hudson Civil Products and Bates Pipes and Products from Australia, and Humes Pipeline Systems and Hynds Pipe Systems from New Zealand.
As the leading voice for the concrete pipe and associated products in Australia and New Zealand, we advocate for appropriate specification, installation and adoption of members products to ensure resilient, sustainable, durable multi-generational civil infrastructure assets.

Brief History
The Concrete Pipe Association of Australasia was founded in 1969 as the Concrete Pipe Association of Australia. In the 1980’s the manufacturers of concrete pipe in New Zealand joined the Association to create a strong regional voice for the continued appropriate specification of concrete pipe and associated precast products that maintains long term, reliable, sustainable asset creation as its focus.
As a strong advocate for performance based standards, the association provides technical and policy guidance for the specification, design and installation of concrete pipe and associated precast products.
Today’s CPAA has a relentless focus on sustainability and resilience, underpinning specifier and asset owner confidence in the application of modern day steel reinforced concrete pipe as the ultimate choice by providing training, resources, advocacy and research.
CPAA members include the major manufacturers and suppliers of reinforced concrete pipe, box culverts, and associated products in Australia and New Zealand. The members commit to the manufacture of concrete pipe and associated products in accordance with the appropriate Australian/New Zealand standards coupled with third party accredited quality systems ensuring the asset designed is the asset delivered.
